Let's Begin Our Homemade Kaju Katli. You just need three Ingredients.
Ingredients List
Kaju - 1 Cup
Sugar 1/2 Cup
Water- 1/4 Cup
Method
- Powder a Cup of Cashew. Make sure not to grind it too much, else you will end up scraping the powder from the mixer grinder.
- Prepare Sugar Syrup with 1/2 a cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of water.
- Let the sugar syrup boil till you get 1 string consistency.
- Now, Add the powdered Kaju to the sugar syrup and mix it well.
- Continue to mix till the mixture does not sticks to the pan.
- When the mixture becomes slightly loose, add a spoon of ghee and mix it.
- Switch off the flame and pour it in a Ghee applied plate.
- Let it cool slightly and cover the mixture with a butter paper.
- Roll it with chapati roll. ( Don't roll it hard, you may end up with thin Katlis)
- Let it cool and make slices.
- Your Kaju Katli is ready in just few minutes.
