Let's Begin Our Homemade Kaju Katli. You just need three Ingredients.

Ingredients List

Kaju -  1 Cup

Sugar 1/2 Cup

Water- 1/4 Cup

Method

  1. Powder a Cup of Cashew. Make sure not to grind it too much, else you will end up scraping the powder from the mixer grinder.

  2. Prepare Sugar Syrup with 1/2 a cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of water. 

  3. Let the sugar syrup boil till you get 1 string consistency.

  4. Now, Add the powdered Kaju to the sugar syrup and mix it well.

  5. Continue to mix till the mixture does not sticks to the pan. 

  6. When the mixture becomes slightly loose, add a spoon of ghee and mix it.

  7. Switch off the flame and pour it in a Ghee applied plate.

  8. Let it cool slightly and cover the mixture with a butter paper.

  9. Roll it with chapati roll. ( Don't roll it hard, you may end up with thin Katlis)
  10. Let it cool and make slices.

  11. Your Kaju Katli is ready in just few minutes.
