Each town has many places to visit. As we had planned our stay in Pushkar, we restricted our places to those that must not be missed. Transit:  You can reach Ajmer from Jaipur via Train, Bus or on your vehicle. The bus fare(Private) to Ajmer costs around Rs. 500/person.(Note: The timing may or may not suit your trip). The train fare comes for a minimum of 450/ person in a second class compartment. Further, one has to travel from the station and look for a mode of transport for sightseeing and then need to catch another bus to move on to Pushkar. No big difference in travel time. It is a minimum of 2.5 to 3 hours by train/ bus. Half hr sooner when you choose the cab. By

With all those expectations we landed in Jaipur on December 25 th 2019. To our surprise it did not appear so. It appeared like normal city in India with all big new buildings, malls and hotels painted in different colours. As we proceeded to our stay we understood that it was the OLD JAIPUR which was called the ‘ PINK CITY ’ earlier and the phrase now means the entire Jaipur as such. Big Red sandstone coloured Wall Surrounds Old Jaipur with many gates or arches in different directions as Entrance to the Old City . Every building appears similar and in the same colour within this great wall. Best Time: We visited Jaipur during Christmas Time and we felt it to be the best. As
